Connects your network to Spark’s PSTN to enable a calling service.
Spark provides voice and messaging interconnect services to enable users on other networks to call mobile and fixed users on Spark’s network, and call end users on other networks. This service has traditionally used SS7 and TDM technology to connect at 23 points around New Zealand.
This service is being replaced by a new IP Interconnect service, that will interconnect only at Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Technical information will be published here when it's available.
